A utility trailer is the one purchase most customers walk in already knowing they need, and the range on this lot covers the whole decision. Single axle units are lighter to tow and cheaper to license, and they are the right call for lawn equipment, a few hundred pounds of scrap, or a weekend hauling job that never gets close to the axle rating. Tandem axle and heavy duty pipe top units carry more weight, track straighter at highway speed with a loaded deck, and hold their value better if you plan on trading up later. We stock both, side by side, with the stock number and the price on every one.
Single axle or tandem, and what the pipe top adds
If the load stays under roughly 3,000 lb and you are not towing every week, a single axle deck like stock 10745 keeps the tow vehicle and the fuel bill smaller. Step up to a tandem axle or a heavy duty pipe top like stock 10737 once you are regularly near a ton, hauling a skid steer or a compact tractor, or towing long distance on I-10, where the second axle keeps the trailer tracking true if a tire goes down. Every deck on this page is plus TTL, title, tax and license, with nothing added at the counter.
